on answering the existential (job) question

OK, I admit putting such title & Sartre's photo for a collection of very short paragraphs can be considered a felony... Sue me.
Honestly speaking,

Now I come to think that to have experience of working as both representative and sustainability officer in a cigarette company is actually a very rewarding experience to me.

Because it pushed me way, way much further. On doing what I am doing not for the sake of to be seen as good (because, whatever we’re going to do, you’re still going to hate us), but strip everything else and really focuses on bringing visible impacts to those who need it.

Damn right I’m saying that. And I say that after more than 2 years in this company, doing what I’m doing. I built the child labor elimination that we’re trying to scale now, from the ground up. I visited farmers, mothers, children, teachers, school, regional government, religious leaders... I have spent hours, days, months, trying to pinpoint things, exploring what’s working and what’s not, and it’s all because, I simply believe that’s the right thing to do.
