the goodbyes never had enough time

what I meant to say was,
'hi, you know, I have always enjoyed our conversation.'
'I wish we had spent more time together, but I'm glad with now as well.'
'Will it sound crazy if I say we think so much alike and I consider you as a brother?'

but the cab's here already. and like they say,
the days are long but (half) the year is short.
